Before you can begin working in PLATOŽ Interactive Mathematics or PLATOŽ Interactive English lessons, verify the following:
Follow these steps to log on and run lessons.
1. Starting from the Home page, select your school from the pull-down list box. Next, click Student. Finally, from the list that is displayed, click Do A Lesson
Alert: The server for your campus will typically be shut down nightly for 2-3 hours for backup and maintenance. Find out from your instructor when this shutdown period occurs. YOU MUST exit the lesson you are working in before the server is shut down; otherwise, your work will not be saved.
2. The Welcome log-on screen displays. Type your log-on name in the Log-on Name box. Type your password in the Password box. Then click OK.
Note: If you don’t have a log-on name or password assigned to you, see your instructor.
3. Now click the Do a Lesson button at the left side of the screen.
4. On the Select a Topic screen, select the topic by double-clicking its name; or click the topic name and then click the right arrow under the lesson list.
5. Insert the PLATOŽ Interactive Mathematics or PLATOŽ Interactive English CD-ROM containing the topic you have selected into the CD-ROM drive of your computer.
6. On the Select a Lesson screen, select the lesson in which you want to work by double-clicking its name; or click the lesson name and then click the right arrow under the lesson list.
Note: If you receive a message titled "Check Your CD-ROM", then you do not have the correct CD-ROM in the drive. Locate the correct CD-ROM and insert it into the drive.
7. On the title screen of the lesson you have selected, click the right arrow at the bottom right corner of the screen to begin work in the lesson.
